Beating five other nominees to the prize, VGD was also congratulated for having a clear digital strategy. During the last few years, VGD Belgium has been working on one organisation-wide digital information platform. With it, every employee can plug in anytime anywhere and on any device, to the firm’s administrative processes, automated accounting and digital collaboration tools. “Together with their development team they have evolved from a traditional accountants’ office to a full-fledged business advisor,” noted Jury Chair Gerrit Veltkamp. Commenting on what the win means for the team, Tony Moreels, Managing Partner at VGD Belgium said: “This award confirms our ambitions.
